right after we checked in to our suite and had showers on friday nite, we were ready to get our pink-a-bella on! the inspiration for this super fun project comes from julie nutting and her book, collage couture.
we painted.
we stamped.
we glittered and glued.
we used mod podge like a pro.
we embellished!!! (we REALLY liked this part!)
a project like this requires lots of "drying" time, so we would work on it a little here and there throughout the weekend. having other projects to work on during the in between times works great for little artists.
i have to say, the little girls enjoyed all of our projects, but this one was a pink-a-bella favorite!

This is a "great" idea and I'm sure you guys had a ton of fun. What wonderful memories you are creating for you and your girls. My daughter is 23 yrs. old now and we have been going on scrapbooking retreats together since she was about 10 years old Great friends, great fun and great memories were created. Love your blog!!!
