girl's nite

i invited a couple of girls from our church over for a Bible study/craft nite.

they would call themselves "non crafters". but i am working on changing that!

we all totally believe in God and trust Christ as our Savior and Lord.

we all try to love Him. worship Him. pray to Him. need Him.

and while i can't speak for them, i find myself a little too nonchalant in my relationship with Him. it's not what i want it to be.

we're going to dig a little deeper.
and do crafts.

  1. These are really beautiful and every time you look down at your wrist you are reminded to draw yourself a little closer to Him.

  2. I've been reading John Piper's _When I Don't Desire God: How to Fight for Joy_ and the chapters I've been reading lately really emphasize being intentional and deliberate about Bible reading, study and meditation and prayer...and it makes me realize how easy it is to stray away.

I've also been constantly envisioning getting the Word up on our walls--a goal I've had for ages. I need to get intentional with my art and get some of the canvases that I envision made into reality!

Anyway...I LOVE your Bible study/craft time!

  3. Wow! I just happened to find your blog and looking at your posts... these are fabulous! Are you selling these? Or is there a tutorial on how to make them? I love the words... did you stamp them on the bracelets? My son goes to a christian school and the teachers would love these. :o)
