this is my all time favorite vintage postcard. it represents so much happy to me.
simple.
pretty.
welcoming.
today is my first day home on summer v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n! i have been nesting. cleaning and organizing, wanting to get everything fresh and ready to enjoy. when i was in my art room i glanced at the postcard and smiled. i think i even thought, "i want to live there." and then reality slapped me across the face and said, "you do!" i grabbed my camera and went straight outside.



it is gray today, and the flowers are really popping. more happy.
